A new gallery: San Diego in July
Spent a few days in San Diego for work at UCSD campus. I don’t remember being there in summer before, it felt different than Fall and Winter. More people around I guess. Not that much warmer, maybe up to 75F.
We had some good food. Dim Sum on Sunday at Jasmine Seafood Restaurant: it looked pretty traditional to my untrained eye: chicken
feet, tripe soup cart, fried taro cake cart, porridge cart. Personally, I stayed with more commons items like dumplings and bau.
We also went for some barbecue a Phil’s BBQ: quite a well oiled machine to get you lots of pretty good meat, fast in and fast out. Beef ribs were ridiculously large. I went for the pork and boneless chicken with potato salad.
